Greenville has been growing rather quickly over the past few years. This week there will be another wonderful addition to the city and that is Lou Lou Boutique. This location will bring number 27 across the company. The company’s aggressive growth strategy includes opening additional locations in South Carolina.
Lou Lou is known for offering a selection of stylish and affordable women’s accessories in a boutique setting. The first store opened its doors in Middleburg, Virginia in 2004, and from there local entrepreneurs Ben and Tara Wegdam have expanded to locations across DC, Virginia, Maryland, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and South Carolina. The independent retailer offers jewelry, handbags, scarves, hats and sunglasses, plus a lot more range of gifts and three signature lines exclusive to Lou Lou: TDW, a classic, elegant line of accessories created by Tara, and Kiki in Paris, a line inspired by their daughters that offers fun mix-and-match pieces for girls and teens. The couple recently developed a new men’s line, LOU, to meet the demand for contemporary masculine accessories and lifestyle items.
I am very excited about the opening of the Greenville location! There will be a launch party this Thursday, April 7th from 6pm to 8pm at 201 N Main Street. I hope to see you all there.
